Muay Thai has developed through many generation.It has combined many cultures and customs harmoniously,for example,the belief in spirits,incantations,music,literatures,virtues and ethics. MuayThai is a liberal art that the ancestor has diligently inherited and improved the level of self-defense as a legacy for the younger generation of Thais today.


In the past ,MuayThai Thai 's fighter was taught and trained to be sacrificial .The fighter must have honesty and loyalty to the institution, the nation,the religion and the king.Thai is why the king would select the fighter to be the royal guard the throne and the county.

There is no clear evidence in the history of Muay Thai in the past.But we can assume that it was involved with the war and when the war was over, Muay Thai has become a popular sport.It 's usually competed in festivals for prizes and show the tactics in the art of Muay Thai.Because of its popularity,Muay Thai has developed into a professional career that has created income and name for many fighters and for our country up until the present.



MuayThai is Thailand’s national sport which originated at the same time as the kingdom. In the olden days, it was regularly practiced by soldiers for close-up fighting. It was also trained together with the double and single swords. MuayThai is played in leisure times when not carried out in wars. Nai-Kanom-Tom was the most famous boxer in the first era of the Ayutthaya period. As for the last era of the period, Pra-Jao-Sia, Khun-Luang-Sorasak, Pra-Kao-Taksin and Prayapichai-Dabhak was the most famous of them all. In the Ratanakosin era, Suan-Jao-Chet arena and Suan Kularb arena are among the first boxing rings of the period. In the early days, Kad-Chuak boxing was very popular. Kad-chuak boxing is the form of fighting in which one needs to tie a rope around the fist instead of using present days boxing gloves.

Thai hereditary distinguished Art of fighting which succeed for a long centuries is Muay Thai.Usually fighter have to use their parts of the body to defend such as hand,feet,knees,elbows and head,Which is known as "Nawa Awut"(nine weapons).Furthermore,to be the most efficient they need to combine with souls,spirits,incantations,music,literatures,virtues and manners.

The Grand Palace



The Grand Palace complex was established in 1782 and it houses not only the royal residence and throne halls,but also a number of government offices as well as the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha.It covers an area of 218,000 square metres and is surrounded by four wall,1900 metres in lengt.

After King Rama I's ascension to the throne in 1782 the palace was built.Prior to this,the royal palace an centre of administration had been located in Thonburi, on the west side of the Chao Phraya River .For various reason,the new king considered the former capital to be unsuitable and decided to establish a new capital on the other side of the river .By his royal command,a new palace was built to serve not only as his residence but also as the site of some administrative offices.

the royal compound has been known since then as the Grand Palace.The two earliest structures erected within the complex were the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall,and the Phra Maha Monthian.
